A "drive-thru" event depicting live scenes of the Bible- from the market to the resurrected Christ.
Needs (not all-inclusive):
Containers/ Display Items
- baskets (all shapes and sizes)
- pottery of all types
- old churns, urns, vases (all shapes and sizes)
- bird and/or chicken cages
- milk crates (preferably wooden)
- Dark plastic buckets that can be covered and used as stools for seats
- rolled bamboo beach mats
Market Scene Foods
- bunches of dried flowers or herbs or look-a-likes
- artificial greenery
- artificial vegetables or fruits
- real larger vegetable items near date of event (ie. gourds, squash, corn, etc.)
- white Styrofoam egg cartons
Farming Materials
- Yolks for cattle, oxen or horses
- Live Chickens
-Live donkeys
- Hay/Straw bales
- Green plastic or wooden snow fencing (no orange fencing please)
Wooden Materials
- wooden stools
- rough wooden back-less benches or log type
- wooden tool boxes
- wooden tools and older style carpenter tools
- wooden dishes, spoons, bowls of all sorts
- Wooden water buckets or buckets that can be covered to look wooden
Lighting Materials
- Generators and heavy duty extension cords
- Outside flood or spot lighting
- Tiki-Torches and Lanterns (hanging or still)
- Camping lights that are lantern look or even battery operated lanterns
Clothing/Fabric
- bolts of fabric (ANY colors or type of material)
- robes
- solid and/or striped sheets (or VERY light floral)
-sandals that look authentic from a distance (will be worn or displayed in market scene)
- large old towels (solid colors)
- blankets: striped, solid, design or woven, knit (any of that sort), but please NO floral
- burlap (need lots)
King's Clothing
-Purple Satin
- Purple clothing
-Gold cloth and clothing
-Anything that looks royal and authentic to Bible era

In order to make this event a success, we're going to need everyone in the SSPWC family! Announcements and recruitment will take place on Nov. 1. More information will be available at that time regarding volunteer and service opportunities.
Please see the list at the right of items that are needed for the event. You may have some of the items listed, or find them at flea markets, yard sales, Big Lots, etc. If you would like to donate or loan any items/props to the church, they will be collected beginning Nov. 1. If you wish to have the items returned to you, please label them appropriately.
